JEFCON Announces New Remote Support App

Jefferson Consulting is pleased to announce that, in order to better-serve our customers, we have completed migration to a new remote access platform from Splashtop!

In order for a customer to receive remote support, they can download our new Splashtop SOS app here, or click on this link: https://sos.splashtop.com. What's the difference? The https://sos.splashtop.com link gives the customer the not only the ability to download a Mac or Windows version, but also, smart mobile devices accessing this link will redirect to either the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on device you're using.

The process is simple: the customer calls the Client Support Hotline 302.380.3373, runs the app, and tells the 9-digit session code generated by the app to the consultant/technician. Access can only be granted with this unique access code, which randomly regenerates each time the customer runs the app. Then, we get it fixed for you!

Customers wishing to grant Jefferson Consulting remote unattended access (not requiring the 9-digit passcode) for automatic access to a Mac or Windows system without customer interaction,( for example after-hours and weekends) may download our Splashtop Deployment package.

Splashtop-based support is available now, to Jefferson Consulting customers using Macs, PCs, Apple mobile devices, and Android-based mobile devices. The support app can be downloaded from the Jefferson Consulting downloads page, or from Splashtop directly. Remote support is a biilable service, 15 minute minimum (hourly rate x 0.25) payable by major credit card.
