Legacy MacBook Repair

On the bench: a White MacBook which is almost ten years old. This beloved portable computer experienced an unfortunate liquid spill. The client has a significant investment in the data and the app only runs on older units. So...we have been tasked with bringing this computer back to life! Installing a replacement logic board, reconnecting heat sink, video, wifi, drives, speakers and power. If it boots and passes diags, we'll order a new top case. Our client trusts Jefferson Consulting to get the job done right!

Anticipation builds for Apple Watch



The Apple Watch is not expected until “early 2015,” which typically translates to “sometime before June.” A recent Cult of Mac article, Apple Watch wins the wrist war before it starts, refers to the lackluster appearance of smart watches at CES, compared with what is expected of the Apple Watch. Of course, this inspired us to take another look at the product presentation by Jony Ive, Senior Vice President of Design at Apple. What do you think of this up-coming device. Will you buy one?
